Corr.: Vaso Khotoevich, please, explain us in detail what you mean when you’re saying about «settling the situation»?
V. Kh.: The only thing we want now is to finally settle the conflict which happened between the owners of land lots (shares) and «City State» Company. Though, there is neither our fault nor the other party’s fault in the existing situation. It just happened. But, since we have become the participants of this situation, then I think that we need to do something and not to wait while the situation is settled on its own. Just believe me, it won’t happen. Each land lot owner should decide what he is going to do with his land lot.
Our company is going to amicably purchase their shares, we have already announced the price – it is the equivalent of 28 thousand of conventional units (USD). For people who do not want to sell their land lots and are planning to keep these land lots for themselves we’re offering another variant – an exchange. That is the exchange for land lots – 354 shares, already bought by us, which we can offer.
Corr.: What should the land lot owners, who want to sell their land, do?
V. Kh.: The procedure is extremely simple. A person, who wants to sell his share, has to come to our community liaison office with all necessary documents. And then there is a usual legal procedure of buying-selling.
Corr.: What documents should they have?
V. Kh.: They should have the certificate of proprietary rights, passport copy and the identification code.
If a person inherited this land lot, then he has to submit corresponding documents – the certificate of right to inherit and the certificate of marriage registration.
Corr.: Perhaps it is not new for you that a lot of people want to sell their land shares but they do not do it hoping for increase in price …
V. Kh.: I assure you that the price we’re offering is the final one and is not subject to changes. First, this price is fully justified; secondly, you can see the ongoing market development – the situation is very unstable and the tendency for price reduction is obvious. Therefore, the price we’re offering is an optimal variant and we’re not going to reconsider it. Besides, the project we’re implementing now is one of the most large-scale projects in Kyiv region. From the first sight it is a development of a housing estate with advanced infrastructure, but let’s look at it more closely. Do you know how much the replacement and repair of rural electricity transmission lines cost? As a rule, no investor bears such expenses, but we do. Therefore we can’t spend extra resources.
